You started learning German pretty much as soon as you got here or even knew some German already.

Apart from work, there are numerous social occasions where you’d like to be more fluent-speaking and fit in better, be it with your in-laws, your children’s teachers or just going about day-to-day life and needing to manage administrative tasks such as visits to the doctor’s, the bank or the migration office.
What’s really bothering you is that you know you can speak German, but you feel you’re not fluent enough to actually speak it as you don’t want others to have a bad impression of you as a result of your language skills.

The most unique feature of my deep dive German Fluency Breakthrough programme is your personal Language Buddy. This is someone who has the same level of German as you and also lives locally.

The number one reason why you’re not as fluent as you’d like to be is almost certainly a lack of practice. You don’t have enough opportunity to speak German in everyday life as you probably speak English at work and with your partner or family you communicate in a different language, too. And the spoken language in Switzerland is Swiss German, which means you don’t hear much High German, either.

This is where your Language Buddy comes in. You’re both facing the same challenges, so why not go on an adventure together? As you both live in the Zurich area, you can meet up in person and get out there to experience exciting new things, navigate unexpected situations and discover the joy of speaking German with ease. You will be given specific tasks to complete and you will both support each other throughout the programme.

I’m a native German speaker as well as a qualified language teacher and a linguist with a Master’s degree in translation.

I moved to Switzerland from Germany in 2011 and since then have focused my efforts on working with ambitious professionals in Zurich who expect the very best learning experience whilst providing a highly professional and personalized service.

Overall, I have more than 20 years of experience teaching adults from a wide range of cultural backgrounds in Germany, the UK and Switzerland. This makes me the ideal person to support you on your journey to becoming more fluent in German so you can integrate better.
